At Aitutaki, Earth I was asked this question today, as most Passengers aboard the ship are not backpackers and have the means to provide their own private tours on most of the islands, so  when I answer the question honestly I’m sure it sounded funny.  So well on the way back to the ship we were traveling with other guest in the life boat which is used to bring us to shore and back when the Island does not have a port for the ship to come in to.  on the life boat I was asked

fellow guest : “did you go on a private tour?”

Me : “No we just took our camping air mattress and floated into the ocean and over the coral for a few hours.”
