Home » Uncategorized » After our experiences we thought it would be interesting to go a little farther to the north just shy of Tibet in a town called Shangri-La we figured we’d been to so many real towns we might as well go to a fictional one, ok joking aside the town was renamed to promote tourism but it’s on a very scenic plateau area at 3300m and offer some unique scenery and happens to offer significant birding opportunities if you happen to be travelling with a professional birder like we are :)
