Global Circumnavigation

Home » Uncategorized » After a little walking around town it was time to get out to see some nature at its best, so off to Tiger Leaping Gorge for some hiking and great views of one of the deepest gorges in the world thanks to the tectonic plate movement in this area. This is also the same river we saw north of Shanghai and at the Three Gorges Dam but this time a little closer to the source water of the tibetan plateau. Its worth noting the Yangtze river is the longest river in the world and in this area two other major rivers of south east Asia run parallel to this valley making for a very impressive area to explore, to our new friends we meet along the way please feel free to help yourself to the photos here, enjoy.
