Home » Uncategorized » Ok so its the national holiday and we are on the move how busy can it get, very busy!! The only seats we can get are hard seats for a 12hour overnight train, no sleeper car for us and a test of endurance with a very loud, smoke filled, over capacity train. For 4 hours there were people in standing room only :o , but on the plus side we got to meet some nice great people and had some good laughs trying to talk to each other. Then after being awake for 26hours we arrived at our hostel, yes that torn down building is our hostel or at least it was when I booked it 8 months earlier but they moved 6 months ago and forgot to let me know, later I found out they sent me an email well I was on the train earlier that morning but I don’t have a cell phone to receive emails well on the move:( locally my friend had a phone I could check my email with to get the new address and my other friend can speak mandarin to arrange a cab to the new location and when we arrived they were able to fill my original reservation and after 30hours with out sleep we had a nice 5 hour nap, then dinner then called it a day :) that was quite an adventure.
