Home » Uncategorized » So after time at some very popular tourist locations in Rome, we chose to retrace some family history this time from the Panacci side of the family, now you need a little back story to understand the photos. so about 65years ago my Grandparents on my father side of the family immigrated to Canada my dad along with them (on an ocean liner / my reason for taking the QM2 to cross the Ocean). So this was very special for us to revisit the house were he was born and connected with extended family that still live in the area. Keep in mind no one has been living in the house for generations but the location was known by our extended family members, to add to the specialness of this 1st time return to his place of birth for my father since he was 5 years old we also had his grandchildren with him (my nephews) and it became a wonderful family event. From my point of view its always good to know were you are from and how truly connected we all are so you can tell were you are going and how to stay connected :)
